Overview

We have the pleasure to bring you this stunning PRS 509 (2018) in a lustrous Charcoal Burst finish. It is a nice and lightweight example weighing-in at just 3.40kg (7.5lbs)!

A set of five 509 single coils (arranged into two humbucking pairs and a single middle) capable of producing 9 tones makes this a highly sonically versatile instrument. This guitar is very smooth to play, notes sustain really well and with phenomenal clarity - we think a mix of the one-piece mahogany (Pattern Regular) neck, Gen III Patented Tremolo, Phase III locking tuners and unique 25.25" scale length make for a winning combination. 

The 509 is a standout model in the PRS Core range and most likely to become your main "Swiss Army Knife" instrument once in your arsenal. With its gradual phase-out within the current PRS lineup, it's almost certain that this already revered model will become a future classic.

This guitar is in excellent condition throughout with only minimal signs of playwear. It's only had light usage over it's short lifespan evidenced by the frets.

The high gloss lacquer is in great condition with no chips anywhere. The back body of the guitar has some very light swirl marks/playwear in the top surface of the lacquer, these haven't shown up on the photos due to the darkness of the paint and will only be caught in a certain light. 

There are around 6/7 small impression marks on the back around the tremolo cover plate, these also can only be seen in a certain light. They are only around 0.25mm in depth and approximately 1mm in diameter (see highlighted final picture).

The case is in nice condition with just a few signs of light wear from storage. Case candy includes the PRS hang tag (slight tear to top left corner), truss rod key, 2x case keys, allen keys etc.

Boxes. In the unlikely event that there is damage to the item you must please notify us immediately on the day that you receive it.

Prior to shipment our guitars are extremely well packed ready for their journey. Many years of guitar shipping experience will make sure your instrument travels safely and securely to your door. 

Local Pickup

If you are coming to collect a guitar from us please note that we require you to mark the item as received on Reverb before leaving (this is the only way Reverb will release your funds to us).

Returns

Returns are allowed within 14 days from the date of you receiving delivery. Goods must be returned in the exact same condition that they were sent in and you must contact us beforehand to authorise a return. The buyer is responsible for any return postage costs and must insure the item to its full value to avoid loss.
