This 26 year old Martin OM-42 has been played a lot, and so has a little wear and tear, but the good news is that overall, it looks fine, neck is straight, and no major structural damage. There was a small crack where the neck approaches the sound hole, which has been repaired and now can barely even be noticed. The back of the neck has some finish worn off (seems like maybe a previous owner played with a ring on his left hand? See picture #5 to see what I am talking about.
The action is perfect, the neck is straight, and the guitar sounds warm and sweet just like you expect from an aged Martin. I installed an L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup which sounds great.
