Designed to preserve signal clarity across long cable runs and pedalboards with multiple true-bypass pedals, the EarthQuaker Devices Buffer/Splitter uses the same circuitry as the EarthQuaker Devices Buffer/Preamp. Its high 1 MΩ input impedance and low 100 Ω output impedance help restore tonal integrity, retaining high-end detail while adding a subtle low-end lift.

Dual buffered outputs allow one input signal to feed two separate destinations. It can be used to run two amplifiers, create a mono-to-stereo rig, send one output through effects while keeping another dry, or keep a tuner isolated from the main signal path.

Power

Requires a standard 9V DC power supply with a 2.1 mm negative-centre barrel connector. Pedal-specific transformer-isolated power supplies, or power supplies with multiple isolated outputs, are recommended to minimise noise from unclean power. Do not operate at higher voltages.
