If you’ve never experienced the Lipstick genre of play, be prepared for the charismatic surf-quality and jangly vintage presentation created for this design. Fat and warm, these will still perk right up for your playing pleasure with enhanced construction and enticing character as well as deluxe encapsulated bar magnet and moderately hot winding. Crafted in the Goldilocks output zone, these lipsticks deliver at all levels for that “just right” feel, power and performance you desire. These passive lipstick single coil pickups give sweet round bottom warmth, tight middle and topside clarity in a classic tube size.

The lipstick cover gives you a tube-slick, smooth yet biting visual to complement your playing style while the bar magnet in these Lipsticks can help you avoid string-to-string definition loss. Providing strong string response for a variety of playing needs, these single coils smooth out and stabilize sound for a more even result.

With dedicated positions for performance enhancement and differentiation, each pickup is wound specifically for a particular position so these pickups are not position interchangeable. The Middle position pickup is Reverse-Wound and Reverse-Polarity (RWRP).

Lipstick Sins Strat Single Coils offer a unique design and the chance to play a lipstick tube pickup without having to mod your standard pickup slot. They feature a standard Strat flat-bottom mounting style with single coil standard short-leg design and will not work in a set-up that requires long leg/long tube placement (i.e. Dano/DanElectro© types). These pickups will fit in a standard single coil Strat routed pickguard, but for best fitment and appearance if using a pickguard, we recommend a specialized guard designed for this pickup style. Due to the vast and varied nature of possible components and set-up styles, we do not provide specific information or diagrams for installation. You should be able to use the basic wire color code information we provide and general knowledge to successfully complete installation with your choice of diagram or instructions.
