Pioneer SA-7800 - near [MINTY!!] - refurbished ($140) - 120V/220V - fully functional, extensively tested

Acquired it with a "package deal"... A very sweet, late 70s silver-face Pioneer that goes with the fluoroscan line of the maker -- pair it with a CT-F 1250 and an RT-909, and you have an excellent system.

Have a few too many as it is, so this one was (as usual) gone through and professionally repaired/rebuilt to last another 40 years - and is looking for its 'forever home'...

The work included:

• right side output circuit
• checking and adjusting the bias and voltages
• operation confirmed by an oscilloscope
• lubricated/de-oxITed the switches and potentiometers

The unit is in excellent condition; nothing really to note outside of the minor delamination of the veneer from the bottom of the side panels, which barely noticeable (see pictures).

Dual voltage - 120V/220V-240V, a rare bird.

See the video for the demo - I had an iPod (classic!) hooked up to the AUX and a phono to, well, PHONO.

There is no static on the switches and the volume. The sound is warm and "very Pioneer".

Perhaps you can find it listed elsewhere for less (and I have seen them go for MORE) - but, in my case, you would be getting a thoroughly checked-out unit with no stories.

See the feedback; I don't buy items to flip - it's not a source of income for me (especially when you consider the Reverb fees), no matter what IRS would like to think -- which they do now, and all sales are taxed as "income". UGH!
