This Model from Gibson Custom Shop is a special one. Part of an exclusive lineup of custom shop models available only to select dealers. It takes the classic '56 Les Paul Standard to the next level with vintage-inspired appointments you wouldn’t typically find on stock models.
This '56 Les Paul Standard Reissue exudes "Old Black" vibes with its ebony top, B7 Bigsby, and P-90 in the neck position. To top it off, it received Murphy Lab’s light aging, giving it the feel and playability of a well-worn vintage instrument.
The lightweight mahogany body keeps the total weight at just 9 lbs, which is pretty impressive considering the added heft of the Bigsby.
