I am the second owner of this instrument and while with me it has been gently played and carefully maintained for more than 20 years. The previous owner unfortunately insulted a spot on the back side just above the tremolo cover which I have shown in that view. These shallow scratches are in the finish only with a couple more just below the cover. In the closeup of the knob area you may be able to see a finish crack just above the F hole, again this is a finish crack and not in the wood. Beyond these finish issues the this instrument could be considered a case or closet queen. The neck finish and inlays are flawless. The hardware, tuners and tremolo, have no corrosion and the pickup covers have only minor string rub, I didn't polish the covers before the photos were made so the is dust creating and accentuating the look of wear. With all that said here come the spec details..... This model was introduced in 1983 making it approximately 41 years old. To my knowledge it is totally original and never repaired or modified. It has the the fabulous "Super 58" Alnico pickups listening to its 24 3/4 - 22 fret neck. The fret board is Ebony with Mother of Pearl / Abalone split block inlays. The tuning keys are smooth and stable. It has its original "Hard Rocker Pro Synchronized Tremelo Bridge" with the tremolo bar and adjustment tool. The control knobs are the original Sure Grip II knobs. Obviously the body is made with the stunningly beautiful Burl Mahogany. All the chrome locks on the case are untarnished, there is one dime sized nick on a rear edge otherwise the case is in clean condition with the worst being the old handle cracked and has not been replaced which doesn't show in the photos. ....... So that's about as much as I can add for description but as I never became a professional musician, and I'm now 81, I will add that my son, who is a Professional, has played this instrument through my Fender Blackface Super Reverb feeding two vintage Jensen C12-N speakers in its matching Fender cab and said this Ibanez is one of the best tone machines he's ever played. ..... I'll just end this lengthy description and endorsement with that. I must apologize for the cut off photos as I didn't know all photos would become square format, hopefully my description is adequate for everyones confidence in conditions. Thank you for your interest. Steve
