NEW Gretsch G9126 Guitar-Ukulele - Natural, Comes With Sweet Gig Bag and Set UP!

Outstanding Tenor 6-string Ukulele from Gretsch

Gretsch Guitars brings their luthier mastery to the world of ukuleles with the G9126 Guitar-ukulele. Featuring a solid quartersawn mahogany top and laminated mahogany body with an ovangkol fingerboard, this beautifully designed 6-string uke delivers great tone and feel. An ovangkol bridge and genuine bone nut and saddle provide even more resonance and tone support. And with a long, 17-inch scale, you have even more fretted fun to play with — a feature uke enthusiasts really appreciate.

Tonewoods and Gretsch’s open-pore finish

The Gretsch G9126 Guitar-ukulele’s organically warm tone comes courtesy of its mahogany top, back, and sides. The mahogany neck and ovangkol fingerboard are an ideal combination for optimizing the transfer of energy from the strings to the body, for a deep and rich sound. Gretsch’s natural open-pore semi-gloss finish enhances the G9126’s tone while providing it with understated good looks.

Gretsch legacy in American music

The Gretsch G9126 Guitar-ukulele transports you back to Gretsch’s roots in American music. Everyone knows Gretsch electric guitars and drums, but did you know that they got their start in 1883 as a banjo company? It wasn’t long before Gretsch was making mandolins, ukuleles, and eventually flat-top guitars, contributing to the very roots of American music. So when you pick up a Gretsch ukulele, you’re holding more than a great uke; you’re holding a piece of American music history.

Gretsch G9126 Guitar-ukulele Features:

• Solid mahogany top and laminated mahogany body provide great uke tone
• Mahogany neck with ovangkol fingerboard is beautifully responsive and comfortable
• Fishman Kula preamp onboard for stellar amplified tone
• Ovangkol bridge and genuine bone saddle provide even more resonance and tone support
• Abalone snowflake inlays on fingerboard provide a classic look
