Sansui G-871DB European Model 1979 - Black

Sansui G-871DB Pure Power DC Stereo Receiver (1979-80)European version with black aluminum faceplate. These receivers were only sold in European Military PX's.

The G-871DB has a 160 watt per channel power amplifier featuring two RIAA phono inputs, a pair of tape loops, a three stage tone control, a subsonic (16Hz) and high level (3KHz) filter, and audio muting. This was just serviced on 2/7/2025. All switches cleaned while on scope. Biased and calibrated. All lights and functions checked. Is running in my main system currently as you can see in the picture. I have collected gear for years and am going to sell off the majority of what I own. I added a couple pictures of some of the gear that is currently listed, and will be listing in the near future. To eliminate some confusion I try to group gear into 4 categories to make it easier. 1. Restored or “recapped”. Much more than just caps, but l mention specifics like filter caps and tuner board were done. Some do not do these. 2. Serviced- Cleaned, calibrated, any bad and/or troublesome transistor/caps/etc. replaced. 3. Working/Original- Opened and simply deoxit/faderlube but are original and working and other minor fixes (cord replaced, quick fixes, ect.). 4. Non-working or working with issue-will state the issue if I have a guess or know.

I would work with your shipper on pickup. I will not box and ship pieces. Would trade for non working gear as well..
