Dropped price to seep fast! Up for sale is a truly unique guitar. One of very few in this stunning dark green. A 1991 Fender ‘57 reissue in 100% original condition finished in a lush dark green accented with gold hardware. This “made in Japan” Strat was custom crafted at the Fujigen Factory during the golden age of fender Japan. While this guitar is not a “Custom Made” (variation of Fender Top-Tier ExTrad/Custom Edition branding), it is a custom build that was built to order over thirty years ago.
This guitar has a boisterous and lively natural acoustic quality with bright and sharp note attack providing an ideal platform for the trio of ST vintage coil pick ups. The pickups are the classic Alnico magnet build with a sparkling bridge pickup that cuts (dare I say shines) and screams along with a rubbery, warm neck pickup. The “in between” positions provide that throaty and hollow chime that is balanced between these two tones and can be further perfected with the VTT (Volume, Tone and Tone) controls.

This Deep Green finish exhibits signs of wear down to the body from blunt contact in various areas of the body including the circumference of the whammy bar. Oxidation on the hardware is present as the gold finish is wearing/rubbing off.
Can include gig back as no hardshell case was given at date of purchase.
Heaps of research went into this guitar and found that it really is a special piece. To more truly value the instrument, id like to see it get a home that values it for its unique features and vintage characteristics. I will be seeking another model but different specs and materials. Open to trades for the right instrument. I plan on finding more goodies like this one moving forward :) Thanks for reading!
