1952 Gibson Les Paul Reissue Tribute in Gold Bullion Finish

For sale is my 1952 Gibson Les Paul Reissue Tribute in a Gold Bullion Finish!  The very cool guitar has lived in a smoke free home studio environment.  It has spent most of its life in the guitar case and was never gigged with.

From a limited-run of only 400 guitars worldwide, this Gibson 1952 Gibson Les Paul Reissue Tribute was created for us to remember the legacy of Les Paul himself.  The Gold Bullion finish is amazing as well is the specially engineered wraparound trapeze tailpiece that perfectly matches Les Paul’s 1952 patent.

Unlike the original '52s it has a post-53 neck angle which allows the strings to wrap over the tailpiece. The tailpiece is anchored only at the lower bout so the top is un-drilled for any bridge fixings. It's non-weight-relieved and the body is one-piece, and it is heavy. The neck is a good handful but not a cricket bat. The pickups are the standard fat, throaty and sparkly Gibson P90s.

The guitar includes a time period-correct non-chambered mahogany body with a traditional thick neck profile that delivers a vintage feel and sustains for days so to speak. The dual P-90 single-coil pickups include Orange Drop capacitors that give that smooth, early Les Paul sound. Topping it off is the unique laser-etched photo on the “Tribute To Les Paul” headstock and a signature pickguard. This is a Limited Edition Collector’s Piece for sure! 

This guitar is in excellent condition with just a few small marks as shown on the pictures.  I noted a few finish cracks also noted on the pictures which is typical for the bullion finish over time.  This guitar is all original and free of any breaks or repairs. Included with this guitar is the original hard-shell case and case candy as shown.
