The Epiphone Jack Casady Signature Bass is the product of years of work and experimentation to find the perfect mix between electric and acoustic bass qualities. To do so it features one specially designed JCB-1 low impedance humbucking pickup, and an impedance selector to control it for a wide range of tonal options. Select 50 or 200 for more mellow sounds with less thump, and kick it up to 500 for some extra hot output and great low-end response. The body is a hollow Les Paul Bass shape with an archtop, and is made of layered maple and wrapped in a layer of single-ply cream binding. The neck is mahogany with a laurel fingerboard, and has a 1960s rounded profile for a firm but comfortable feel. Stunning looks, a hot humbucker, and lightweight playability, this Epiphone's got it all.
