The 314ce studio is the entry level, allsolid, U.S. made instrument in the 300 series from Taylor Guitars. The 314ce studio employs all solid Sapele back and sides and pairs it with an all solid torrefied Sitka spruce top. The Grand Auditorium body shape is Taylor's most versatile body shape, perfect for fingerstyle to light to moderate strumming. Also an exceptional choice for stage, recording, or anyone looking for a guitar that can handle a variety of applications. Sapele is known for its woody overtones that focus on the midrange frequencies. The solid torrefied Sitka spruce top gives the player a wide frequency range suitable for a myriad of applications. Premium features include a torrefied spruce top, rounded body edges with black and white top edge trim, an allgloss body, a nut width of 111/16 inches, 4mm dot fretboard inlays (Italian acrylic), a faux tortoiseshell pickguard, award winning VClass bracing, and ebony fingerboard and bridge. Guitar is equipped with award winning Expression 2 active electronics and ships in a structured gig bag.
