Complete your vintage audio collection with this vintage amp by Marantz!

Well maintained and cared for by one owner, but there are considerable scratches on face-plate caused by a recent move but otherwise in very good condition. Priced to sell in the event you want to search and invest in a replacement face-plate to be found on auction sites - I have seen many face-plates for various Marantz units online.

I collected these two photos here when visiting my mother-in-law in Texas last March. She is now ready to part with this amp.

Last tested nearly 10 years ago on the regular quality-test by her late husband. It reportedly still sounded great then. This remarkable man was an avid audiophile collector who thought it would be a good investment and bought it new in 1969 I am told.

He rarely played it - mostly on the scheduled testing dates through his Klipschord KBWO corner speakers - so you know it was never driven hard! It has very few hours of use.
