This Custom Shop '64 Tele is from the 2022 Fall LTD Event (built November 2023). It will ship for free in a unique blonde tolex/black trim/royal blue interior case with all factory components and warranty, freshly restrung and setup to your preferences by our Fender certified technicians. A shop favorite, this charming Telecaster is a sleeper. From a distance it may pass for another simple, stock 60's Tele, but upon closer examination, its humble features are outshined by a few attributes that really stand out among the rest. A set of Hand-wound Loaded '51 Nocaster pickups (with a sharp looking open-face neck pickup cover) and a custom Greasebucket tone circuit allow for classic Tele twang and improved clarity at lower volumes. The compensated brass barrel saddles give you that authentic snap and sustain that many '60s threaded steel saddles may lack, while not compromising the intonation like standard '50s barrels. A lightweight, resonant Alder body with a wonderfully worn ultra-light nitro finish offers premium comfort and classic looks while letting the guitar breathe and sing beautifully. The rich rosewood board hosts a set of dependable 9.5" radius narrow tall frets on an inviting 60s Oval "C" profile, with a matching painted headstock to let everybody know this one is something special.
