Lotus was very bad at keeping records of the various difference provenances of its guitars. They made them in Japan. They made them in Korea. They even made them in India. However, they never marked them well, so being sure where it came from is difficult at least. Someone scraped the logo off of this one, so it’s even harder. That being said, this one might have been made in Japan. Either that or it was made in Korea in the early days. Doesn’t really matter, it plays great, sounds amazing and looks about as cool as it is possible fo an instrument to look.
