Like, we all haven't done that. Done what? Bought a Mustang that hung from a nail in a dusty vintage guitar store. That was par for the course up until the early 90s. I suppose by then they figured these guitars had value. What was the effect on that tuner that hung on said wall? It was obvious that the shaft was bent from the weight. Since I identified why you are here, here is the solution. If your guitar suffered from that fate, I understand. You can't say it's the price keeping you from the restoration.
