Steinberger Spirit XZ-25 (Left Handed) Headless - Black Gloss

Headless Steinberget Spirit XZ-25 headless bass (left handed)

- Steinberger tuning system 

- Humbucker pickups

- Passive electronics

- Currently strung right handed. It can easily be reverted to left handed by doing a set up. The strings on it can even be reused, as they are relatively new.

- Strung with a newer set of D’Adarrio doubleball strings

- Electronics function properly.

- Knobs are Volume (front pickup), Volume Knob (rear pickup) and Passive tone control.

- Several small dings on the back of the body. I tried to show them in the photos, but they are hard to photograph. There is also an approximatley 1/2 ding on the body at the neck joint. It does not go through the finish.

- The back of the neck, near the headpiece has the word “USED” stamped into the wood (See photo). From my research, this means that when the instrument was new, there was some defect, and it was sent to a refurbisher to bring it up to factory specs. The refurbisher then stamped “USED“ into the neck so that when they sold it, the buyer could not make a warranty claim with the manufacturer, since the instrument was technically not new. This is what I was able to find, but please do your own research. The bass was gone over by a tech when I purchased it, and he couldn’t find anything wrong with it.

- Small scratches around the pickups, which are hard to photograph.

- Frets are in good shape

- Trussrod works

- Does not include a case, but will be packed well for shipping 

Overall in very good condition. I’m selling it because I don’t need another 5-string
