1952 Early Gibson GA-40 Les Paul Amplifier

 This one has it all. Vintage class and vintage mojo. They don’t get any cooler than this! She’s been completely professionally inspected. A few tubes replaced with NOS tubes and all electronics are up to spec (we can include all the replaced tubes and any electronics with the amp if you choose-just let us know). Has a nice 3 prong plug for your safety and the foot switch was updated for better functionality. The cosmetics are actually excellent for an amp of this age. You will see a few worn spots here and there, but even the “LP”, the metal Gibson logo, and all the speaker insert plastic are in perfect condition. And, the stenciled “Les Paul model” is still completely visible on the front. There are no tears and the tolex is all securely affixed. The 12” Jensen Alnico speaker is original. It has its share of age/use of course, but still performs quite well-no tears or blemishes. The low end isn’t as punching and clear as it likely was back in the day, but still over all she puts out with a nice clear breadth across the spectrum. The vibrato is like no other. These vintage vibros just have such a sweet and mellow edge to them. A great amp for studio, collection or even gigging. To find a well preserved G-40 in this condition is difficult. They do not come up very often, and we hate to part with this one. But, there are other great guitars and lots of gear that we still need to gather and get back on the market, so we’re letting this gal go. We’re letting her go at a great price and "as described" since amps are such a pain to ship. Don’t miss out!
