Black Acid Electric - Fuck (Fuck Overdrive Clone)

Clone of the future classic Fuck Overdrive. My new favorite pedal, let’s just say the hype is real. This circuit has an added “sag depth“ control knob which is super rad. All the controls work really interestingly together… the gain, sag, and threshold controls can produce an incredibly versatile range of tones. From crunchy classic overdrive, to gnarly distortion, to rad gaited/glitchy ”almost fuzz“ territory and straight up “broken amp” tones... it’s easily one of the best overdrives/distortions I’ve ever heard as far as gain range and tonality goes. Also plays incredibly well with other pedals, either boosted by another OD or boosting a fuzz (I do both). Because of the potential “broken amp” sounds, you’d think it would stick out like a sore thumb but it‘s excellent for gain stacking and plays surprisingly well with other pedals. I’m STILL discovering new sounds from this bad mf… it can doom, it can shoegaze, it can psych. As well as just good old tube juicin’ overdriven radness.

It’s a badass pedal. It won’t leave your pedalboard (hasn’t left mine and has even been an “always on“ for me so far, surprisingly, considering it can do some gnarly stuff). It’s worth the cash. It’s also a pain in the ass to build and get right. Because of that and because of the badass artwork, I believe this clone is priced fairly and that you will be a happy effing camper. If you don’t know what this pedal does or what it’s capable of, I recommend watching some demo videos to get a feel for it. If you do know, well… you know how rad it is.

3-4 week build time. Can be made in black or aluminum, both are pictured above, with your choice of bypass footswitch LED color (the one that’s not red, that one stays red). This is a handbuilt product, rarely do they come out perfect but we think that’s pretty punk rock.
