A beauty!  Vintage Elkhart Conn brass cornet serial number 863128, which should mean manufacture c. 1960.  This instrument plays well and seems to have good compression.  No dents save a few very tiny dings; slide bends have no dents; no red rot. (please see photos for details) Shining, bright near perfect Lacquer finish and is over 95% intact. All caps and slides move freely; valves rebound nicely and are silky smoooth; valves look good.  Cleaned and lubed.  Comes with 7C Bach Mt. Vernon mouthpiece, in excellent condition with beautiful silverplate; rim in excellent shape.   Also includes a Conn case in very good condition. Truly an American Beauty.
