Condition Notes
0. This instrument has been fully disassembled and cleaned.
1. It does not operate on battery power, it requires use of an external power supply (9-12v positive center). Because it plays and sounds like it should, I did not muck around trying to fix the battery power issue.
2. The included Yamaha power supply appears to have been repaired near the wall unit at some point in the last thirty odd years (see picture) but reliably powers the instrument.
3. Internal coin cell operates and retains settings in memory.
About the RY10
Has a built in speaker with dedicated switch so you can run it alongside stereo outs and/or headphones.
The RY10 is a great little drum machine. It has XOX input (uncommon for Yamaha drum machines) with LED’s, three tracks (two drums plus a bass), and the matrix interface means very little menu diving.
