We are excited to offer the just released 2025 Martin 28 Series. These models harken back to the classic models of the 30s and 40s, providing some of the most sought after and most recorded tones in history.

As part of the newly refreshed Standard series, the 28 series models include Golden Era Top Braces, the Authentic Fingerboard Thickness (thinner) with gently beveled comfort edge, sleeker vintage-style heel, Golden Era Modern Belly Bridge with Bone Bridge Pins, Long Diamond Neck Transition and the Nut is placed on the angle of the headstock.

The new for 2025 D-28 delivers Martin’s iconic Rosewood tone with the incredibly high-quality design of the Standard Series.  The all-solid design offers the tones of one of the most recorded guitars in history. 

The Solid Spruce Top delivers a wide dynamic range that players of all styles will appreciate.  The Rosewood Back and Sides provide the heralded Martin bottom-end with the sparkling highs that we have all come to love.

The D-28 is the most iconic acoustic guitar in history and the refreshed 2025 model provides an incredible combination of classic tone and feel with Martin’s incredible modern consistency.  It’s truly the best of both eras!

Players will immediately notice the booming bottom-end that is powerful yet defined.  A lush mids section is followed up by the most beautiful sparkling highs that offer the ability to cut through a mix while still offering plenty of character.  The “banjo killer” nickname definitely applies here!
