Duco finish is not original. Received as poorly re-finished, non-matching marching drums. The bass drum has been resized to fit modern 30" heads, resulting in one extra/filled hole. There is also another extra/filled hole where the original marching harness eye-bolt went, and also on the floor tom where the throw off, butt plate and key holder went. Bass drum edges have been leveled and hand-sanded as well. Both drums sound amazing.
The floor tom hoop clamps have been modified so the legs don't angle inward awkwardly as they would otherwise. I tried using generic hoop clamps originally but am replacing them all with Gibraltar hoop clamps as pictured in the close-up image.
