Up for sale is a fretless Fender Precision/ Telecaster partscaster bass in fiesta red over two tone sunburst.
The neck is a made in America 2019 Fender Tony Franklin fretless Precision bass neck with an ebony fingerboard. The neck has its original Fender branded 70's style tuners with a drop D lever on the E string tuner.
The body and it's hardware are from an early 2000's made in Japan OPB two tone sunburst '51 style Precision bass that has been sprayed over with a fiesta Red lacquer finish, which was then reliced to show the original sunburst finish underneath.
The bass has its original made in Japan pickup, but the wiring harness has been upgraded to CTS pots with a Pure Tone output jack and a vintage Sprague bumble bee paper in oil capacitor, which gives the bass a wonderful vintage woody sound.
The bass is currently setup with a nice set of flatwound strings to give it that classic old school thump. Please feel free to ask any questions, and I hope that whoever buys this bass will put it to good use!
