Back from the dead! This Gretsch Electromatic Jet unfortunately came to me with the headstock broken off, some neck dings and missing hardware. The electronics were perfectly preserved, so I got to work and was able to resurrect it by performing the following repairs:
1. Headstock reattachment and refinishing
2. Neck ding filling and refinishing
3. Bridge and tailpiece replacement
4. Upper horn electronics cavity cover fabrication and replacement
5. Pickguard gluing repair
There are still a few small chips and scratches (including where the serial number was partially scratched out for some reason), but otherwise it plays and sounds great!
P.S., I was able to make out the serial number as CYG2203 2154, making it a 2022 model.
