Not a reissue. According to Gibson history (by others) it may be early 1970. The S/N is stamped with no “made in USA” and has the dotted I in the Gibson logo. Owned since new. Used it to play rock. Switched to country and Tele’s and Strat’s in middle 1970’s. Has been in the case and in a climate controlled closet ever since then and rarely played. Has a couple of dings on the back of the neck ( never seemed to affect the playability) (shown) Neck is perfect and it plays like a dream. One ding in top below bridge (shown). Case is in good shape. Changed two knobs to speed knobs (original knobs included). Pickup selector switch knob cracked and fell off and I made a brass one that is on it now. A plastic one is easily obtainable.
Not many around in this good of condition. A real collectors item.
