This beautiful 1953 Fender Esquire is a lightweight example that sounds fantastic.
The instrument is completely original, with undisturbed solder joints, and complete of all its original parts, frets and nut included.
Long ago the original owner draw on the body top a few musical sharps and flats, slighlty etched through the finish (four #### and three bbb) that at some point have been oversprayed to try to hide them.
Our ToneTeam Luthiers professionally removed the light overspray revealing the funny "musical score".
The guitar features 1952 dated electronics (pristine conditions), and May 1953 neck and body dates. The neck is the classic big soft V shaped style, with a nice light birdseye and flame figuring. The instrument has one of the rare "golden" logo decals, seldom seen in the early blackguard days, but exclusively on Esquire models.
The guitar comes complete of the original "ashtray" bridge cover and rare "poodle" case.
