Slingerland Windsor 1960s 14” Artist Model 3 Ply Tri-Band Red Sparkle and Black Diamond Pearl Snare Drum

Available is an extremely rare and once in a lifetime opportunity to own a 14” multi banded factory Slingerland Artist 3ply snare drum. This drum is clean for being nearly 60 years old. There are 8 chrome over brass double sided lugs. Tension rods and washers look original.

The finish is red sparkling pearl and black diamond pearl in the middle This is an original factory wrap (I also have the kit). This came from the Radio King Windsor model combo kit which was a snare, bass and rack tom but only the snare is available in this for sale post. Beautiful Slingerland stick saver hoops, original 60s knurled muffler and zoomatic strainer all work flawlessly. It also includes an original Slingerland batter drum head and what appears to be original Slingerland snare wire.

No extra holes, no major issues or corrision on the chrome. No gashes or gouges with the wrap / wood. The badge is factory installed. This drum is a rare bird and there is only one other example of this snare drum in this finish known that is already in a private collection.

This was more than likely a school special order or church special order multi banded artist 3ply snare drum.
