Early seventies 3 bolt tilt system jazz bass neck for your consideration. This neck is suffering from a small crack (~1mm) between the first inlay and the nut. The crack extends slightly into the inlay and under the nut. This neck actually plays just fine with the crack as-is and the relief is pretty flat but it seems sketchy to add any more torque. So, I would say you would almost certainly want to replace the rod and fingerboard if you were going to install it for a daily driver

Maple on maple w pearloid blocks and cream bindings. I believe the neck may have been refinished w poly at some point before I got it? There is a chip on the back side of the headstock but otherwise the finish is very clean. I’ll include all the hardware (I think it’s OG but again, based off the finish, I can only say for sure it came w the bass when I bought it ) as well as the bass-side adjustment hardware for the 3 bolt tilt

The neck is quite a looker so I’m bummed to see it off the bass but this is a studio instrument so reliable adjustability is a must and that kind of Luthery is way above my pay grade 😂
