In excellent, near-mint condition. Found at an estate sale, she is a true Closet Queen;  It looks to have never been played, and judging from the condition of the strings, I'd say these are the originals.  There is zero wear on the frets or fretboard, the painted fretboard 'dots' are all still pristine. The body is complete and intact;  no separation of the top or back as is so common on these 'painted binding' guitars.  The bridge is intact with no cracks.  

The hardware is likewise in excellent shape;  the 3-on-a-plate tuners are pristine, with the buttons aged to a nice off-white, and the plate hardware tarnish-free. The metal T-logo headstock plate is dent-free and scratch-free, as is the tailpiece, although it could use a polishing. The brass frets have tarnished, but will polish up nicely.

There are only a couple of flaws with this beauty that keep me from listing as mint; a small nick in the painted binding on the top bass side, and a handful of 'detents' in the finish on the back.  These are not scratches, more like very shallow depressions that don't go through to the wood.

I have made no repairs or changes to this original beauty.  I can't speak to it's tone;  the action medium, and there is slight relief in the neck.  She has a bolt-on neck that is easily shimmed to improve the neck-angle if desired..

A note on 'action and playability':  every guitar's action (the string height at the 12th fret), relief (the amount of forward curve of the fretboard), and playability (the ease with which notes and chords are fretted) will be different depending on the guitar's setup. What is ideal for one person might not suit another, and any adjustment is understood to be the responsibility of the owner. The measurements and description I have provided are accurate and setup references are to my tastes, and may not be yours.
