For sale: 1979 Les Paul Standard in Cherry Sunburst. Very good condition, especially considering its age, definitely played over the years, but definitely loved and cared for as well. CONUS shipping only.

• Nashville built
• Weight: 9.63lbs
• Neck Profile: 0.805/0.886/1.007 (1st/7th/12th frets) w/ soft shoulders
• 1-piece mahogany body
• 3-piece maple top
• 3-piece maple neck w/ volute
• Original T-Tops dated: 6/04/79 (B) & 4/17/79 (N)
• Original pots dating to the 16th and 48th weeks of 1978.
• As said above, it’s very well cared for, but has most definitely been played as evidenced by the wear up and down the neck (through to the wood), and belt buckle worming on the back (though none through the finish).
• Frets are original and have wear, but very playable.
• Knobs have been replaced, but 3 of the originals are included in the case.
• Tuners have been changed out for modern Klusons that were drop-ins, no drilling required. Tuners that came in it when I got it are included in the case (they weren’t original and weren’t the best).
• Truss rod is in great condition with plenty of life left to it for future adjustment.
• Original hard shell case.

This old Norlin Standard is awesome! Tons of mojo and the original T-tops sound amazing!
