So there are 2 versions of this release, an older one with modernized F-holes and a newer version with a more traditional F-hole design. This is the newer version.
This guy retails for $1300 new and this particular one is in near mint condition. The logo has faded from the pick guard a little, but that’s about it. The only reason I’m marking it as “excellent” and not mint is because I did some tweaking and have returned it to stock. I’m no amateur to luthier work, so everything is done cleanly and well.
I’m the original owner, and have kept this in a smoke-free home and played occasionally at church. 100% original, and no real need for changes. Tuners hold great and have a nice tight feel to them. The vibrato arm felt a bit thin to me, so I used a Chet Atkins arm but have returned it to stock so I can use that arm on another project. Tried other pickups, but put it back to stock since they sounded way better, imo.
If you’re looking for that traditional look and sound, this thing delivers. It’s a great alternative to a 335 for a fraction of the price.
I ship securely, and quickly. Unfortunately I do not have a gig bag or hard shell case available.
