You are bidding on a piece of rock history! This is an all-original 2005 Fender Custom Shop '67 Relic Telecaster in Firemist Silver. This has been one of the axes in Smithereens' guitarist Jim Babjak's live arsenal over the years. Jim ordered the guitar direct from the Fender Custom Shop. It is 100% original, and in excellent condition. The neck is straight with low, easy action, and the frets show no wear worth mentioning. Weighs in at a comfortable 6.8 lbs. No breaks, dings, or scratches - just expert reliccing by Fender. Pickups sound killer, with all the grit, bite, and twang you'd expect from a vintage-style Telecaster. Original Fender hard shell case included, with the case candy shown in the photograph.
A letter of authenticity of ownership signed by Jim Babjak will be included, along with a signed photo of him clearly playing the guitar in concert.
