This Les Paul Custom is Mahogany with a Maple top. weighs just under 11 lbs. A heavy weight tone monster.

ONLY MOD.....analog 20db booster on neck pickup volume control push-pull knob that works on the final signal. 9v battery with adjustable Db output pot.
Pickups read 7.5 ohms - bridge ........ .....7.2 ohms - neck gold plating worn thin on covers and bridge.

All other electronics and hardware are stock and are original throughout. "This Guitar has not been rebuilt or pieced together from parts whatsoever!

. Slim taper neck Is very straight. Nutt excellent (10-46) gauge most of its life. Fretboard is clean. Frets are in great shape. Neck plays clean and true with the action set low.

Tuners operate smoothly. Intonation sets up easily and spot on. Tuning is very stable.

Is missing a 3/4" section of binding on the headstock by the A string tuner. Has usage and wear marks but no deep scratches and never refinished anywhere. I am almost certain that every hardware screw is factory and in its original build location.

This guitar was used for just over 10 years , then it sat idle from 1989-2022 when it was cleaned and semi disassembled to do a complete service and checkout then put back to use. Nothing replaced but strings. Everything worked as built. These older Gibsons were amazing and this guitar is stable and strong in its tone personality and character.

Guitar is worn in beautifully especially the neck baskets and its operation is trouble free and easy to play, smooth , quick and is truly a Les Paul in every sense!
