The Epiphone Korina Flying V is meant to be a faithful recreation of one of the most collectable guitars from Gibson's sotried past, a 1958 Gibson Flying V! And this one has even gone through the Gibson Custom Shop to make sure it stays true to form. The neck and body are both solid korina, with the neck having a long tenon that extends underneath the neck pickup. The 12" radius fretboard is made of Indian laurel, and includes 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid dot inlays. Moving to the electronics, the pickups are Gibson Burstbuckers which provide for an unbeatable classic sound. The CTS pots also have a Mallory capacitor between just like the original 1958 Flying Vs did. And for increased tuning stability, they've installed Epiphone deluxe tuning machines at the top. This guitar also ships with an Epiphone branded hard case.
