Rikki Rockett's Poison, Ludwig Vistalite 5-Piece Set 22", 16", 13", 12" with 5.5x14" Zikos Custom Acrylic Snare 1976 - Green

Rikki Rockett co-founded Poison in 1983 with his longtime pal Bret Michaels. Their debut 1986 album “Look What The Cat Dragged In” scored 3 hit singles with "Talk Dirty to Me", "I Want Action", and "I Won't Forget You" and established the band as a major force in the exploding Hollywood rock scene. The band has since released 16 albums and DVDs selling 50 million copies. They completed their massive Stadium tour with Def Leppard, Motley Crue and Joan Jett in 2022 and plan to hit the road again in 2026. Suffice it to say that Rikki Rockett and Poison have earned their street cred!

I’ve spoken with Rikki a few times over the last several years about helping him with his impressive collection of drums. Rikki just plain loves drums and like so many of us, he had a hard time letting go of his precious drums but ultimately felt the drums needed to get into the hands of people who will play them and love them as much as he did.

Rikki bought this stunning 1976 Ludwig, Green Vistalite drum set at the legendary Hollywood Drum Shop in Hollywood, CA around 1999, just in time to use the set on Poison's 2000 Crack A Smile album rehearsals. You can even see some of Rikki's handwritten notes written on the floor tom head in black Sharpie. The set has remained a part of his collection of studio drum sets ever since.

14x22" Bass Drum, 16x16" Floor Tom, 9x13" and 8x12" Toms. The drums are in excellent condition with no cracks, splitting or damage. The 5.5x14" matching snare drum was custom made for Rikki by the Zikkos Drum Company. It's green acrylic shell is a slightly darker shade than the Ludwig but still makes a great match. All the drums feature Slug Percussion Batter Badges. The set was fully restored and detailed by the Renovation Drum Company.

There photos depict the condition of the set accurately.
