This listing is for a vintage Gibson M-69 Neck Pickup Ring (MR-491). Please note this pickup ring is slightly damaged and one of the pickup hight adjustment screws holes is damaged. (See Pics) The pickup may still be functional depending on your guitar & mounting needs but this item is being sold AS-IS and the buyer needs to be aware of the issue.
This pickup ring is an original Gibson M-69 neck pickup ring from the 1960's. The pickup ring is period correct for many Gibson models with Humbuckers made in the late 1950's or 1960's such as the ES-175, ES-335, ES-345 and ES-335. It has the code "MR491" on the inside so this is for the neck pickup position. One side of the pickup ring is taller than the other which is normal for a curved top Gibson.
As mentioned previously, one of the two pickup height adjustment screw holes is damaged-see pics. The pickup ring also shows normal wear and tear but the main issue is the damaged screw hole.
The ring comes as pictured and does not include any mounting screws.
