The Fender Player II Series Telecaster is the easiest way to dip your toes into the world of modern Fender guitars. With classic sound and updated looks and playability this Tele has a perfect blend of features to make it comfortable for anyone in any genre. Starting with the electronics Fender have left them alone, because why change perfection? This Tele comes with Player Series Alnico-V single coil pickups that are wound for sparkling highs and tight lows, and to control them it's got the classic 3-way switch in combination with master volume and tone knobs. The modern "C" shaped maple neck has a comfortable satin finish, a 9.5" fretboard radius, and 22 medium jumbo frets. The body is also in a new finish dubbed "Mocha", which is a chambered ash body with a polyurethane gloss finish over it. Lastly the hardware is all chrome, with Fender's Classicgear tuning machines and a 6-saddle through body bridge for increased resonance and tuning stability.
