For your consideration we have this Early 1900s "Francois Barzoni" 3/4 size 310mm scale violin. To the best of our knowledge "Francois Barzoni" was a name used by the English company Beare and Son to relabel violins made to their specifications in Germany and France, this example appears to likely be German made as it has a German label inside of it next to the Barzoni label. The violin has a few repairs that have been expertly done long ago in its past, a small top crack by the treble side F hole, a back repair and the tuner holes also appear to have been filled with flamed maple at recut at some point in the instruments life, to best show the repairs we photographed them under a black light to highlight areas with wear or repairs. All repairs are holding and The violin is in playing condition with brand new daddario ascente strings installed, it appears to be extremely well made for a 3/4 size instrument with excellent sound and it is very lightweight. Included with the violin is both a modern case and the original case along with a few antique accessories (pictured), two bows are also included but will need to be rehaired before use. Feel free to make us an offer or ask any questions, please ask any and all questions before purchasing as it is sold as Described.
