This is a nice older Peavey Studio Pro 40. These solid-state amps get
great reviews by everyone who uses them and are developing a bit of a
cult following. Louder than a typical 40-watts running through a 12 inch
speaker. These amps are able to achieve a broad range of tones once you
learn how to use them. A very cool, very flexible, under-appreciated
amp from the 80's. Google some reviews and see what I mean. This one is
in great shape. I recently cleaned it up very nice, including the pots,
which work great. The extra-heavy duty rhino toilex is in nice condition
with no rips or tears. The chrome hardware does have some light patina,
but it still sounds and looks fantastic. Someone modified it a bit and
put an extra speaker jack on the side. I'm not sure why and I have not
tested its functionality, but it could easily be undone. I also have not tried the inputs on the back.
But everything else on it has been tested and this thing can get loud
and sounds great. Built like a tank with rhino skin, this is a lot of
amp for the money. Let me know if you have any questions.
