With a really cool dark metallic purple finish that almost looks black until you put light on it; The Hodad looks like a reissue but was a new Korean made model introduced in the 90s that harkens back to Danelectro's heydays of the 50's. It is equipped with genuine lipstick humbucker pickups, original formulation of the 50s based on Alnico style magnets and dual concentric stacked tone and volume controls.
The body is in good shape with noted blemishes and pickrash (see photos) and is lightweight due to its hollow inner cavity which really enhances the open and ringtones of the guitar. 
Hard maple neck with rosewood fretboard, sealed Dan-o tuners and fully adjustable bridge for easy intonation and action modifications.
Minimal fretwear and low action make this one cool rocker. This has been recently set up and all electronics are in working order. Plenty of life left on the truss rod and ready to play.
