A guitar company named after a man who never existed which means the location (New York) and the year (since 1932) are also fictional!

Every guitar has a story. This is as much as i know about this one...

Well, this one is interesting in that it is not interesting. I found a guitar with the name brand Carlo Robelli on it, claiming to be from new york in 1932....problem is, the guiyars were made for Sam Ash and the name and history were all fabricated to give the brand authenticity or something. anywho, this guitar is not of that same quality of the Korean made guitar i fell in love with earlier that summer. So, i saw this, jumped on it, and soon learned that this brand was being made in china now and this guitar was much more recently made than i thought (2010s). So, i go this mid tier guitar that played poorly and took the opportunity to try and make the most of it.

I took the whole thing apart, despite not being that dirty or anything, but rather to assess and adjust whateer needed it. One of the main things i did was add some lubricant to the gears in the tuners to try and make them a little smoother. I also made a bone nut for it, leveled/crowned/polished the frets, hydrated the fretboard, full pocket maple neck shim, new switchcraft output jack, set up and intonation with 10's, and set up with floating trem because why not?! trying to make a bespoke little strat here!

So, all in all, this guitar is a success. It plays well, it sounds decent (the bridge pickup does rip tbh) and most importantly, its not something to treat preciously.

If you are still reading this, i just want you to know that i know this guitar is over priced. i want offers, i want interaction, but mostly i want this guitar to go to the right person. If that person only has half what im looking for, if the story is good, that whats im talking about. Its more important to get instruments into peoples hands and get music being made more than anything. I love music and i want people to be able to experience the actual magic of making music themselves.
