Samick SA-31/MR 90s - metallic red

Oh my God I love this guitar so much. This freaking thing is a total dream and I do not want to sell it which is how I know it needs to go to someone who will play the shit out of it.

Every guitar has a story. This is as much as i know about this one....

ok, fist things first. this is a Samick made in Korea in the 90s. I used to scoff at Samick until i learned about the Epiphone guitars that THEY were producing at the time...and the fact that the Samick branded guiyars ranked higher in quality to those Epiphones which, if you know about Peerless, you know...

Anywho, I found this guitar on Goodwill and took a chance. It was really really rusty and nasty when it got to me (notice the output jack plate...still super rusted...couldnt get it much better than that).

This one required one of the deepest of cleanings, with every single tuner/screw/washer/knob/everything coming off the guitar, being cleaned individually, before going hard at the fretboard. This one for a srandard level/crown/polish as well as a thorough hydrating of the fretboard. I removed the nut and replaced it with an unbleached bone nut. The neck got a full pocket maple neck shim, set up with 10s. This one has a real nice vibe with the floating trem setup, so its real light to get a whammy or flutter and can also bring the pitch up slightly.

I love this guitar. I do not want to sell this guitar. I want to keep it forever and sell any and all other s style guitars. I really truly believe this guitar is going to end up with the right person and it will change their life. Until that time, i love this guitar and will cherish it.
