You are bidding on a V1. Roland VG-88. It is the successor to the original. It has both GK and Guitar inputs so it can be used with its synth/modeled sounds or just as an amp modeler/effects processor. It holds up very well, sound wise. I have used it for sound design for compositions. It excels for atmospheric/crazy sounds. For more modern sounds, it could be used with cabinet IRs or just as a guitar modeler. A couple of small paint nicks but it is in great shape otherwise. NEW BATTERY.
One feature the VG-88 and its predecessor have is the ability to "build" a virtual guitar, including sizes and pickup placement to create interesting new sounds. Place a pickup on the twelfth fret. Have a single coil stretch across the body diagonally. This is a feature sadly missing from later VG generations.
