This is a rare, lightweight and unplayed NAMM Limited Edition '63 Tele that sounds out of this world. It features an incredibly hard to find matching headstock in beautiful Lake Placid Blue finish.
This is the Tele that once you pick up, you never want to put down. The neck feels super comfortable, plays out of this world and is full of vintage vibe. The AAA rosewood fingerboard looks and feels great.
The relic job is particularly nice on this axe, which has great balance and killer tone. The vintage style tortoise pickguard is super nice and matches the Lake Placid Blue finish perfectly.
I purchased this Tele new at NAMM 2017 as part of Fender Custom Shop's 30th Anniversary Limited Editions. I played it only to test out on arrival and have stored it carefully in a humidity controlled environment.
Tele's with matching headstock are considered highly sought after instruments by musicians and collectors. They are rare and difficult to find, especially in unplayed condition.
The workmanship and attention to detail on this guitar is impressive.
