Selling some synths from the Vincent Presley / Secret Records studio. Pick up preferred. Could meet In Middleton if that’s easier than coming to Black Earth. Now willing to ship after several people have asked. Sold as-is. I could make a video if you want. READ EVERYTHING!

It’s missing a few slider caps and there are a lot of scratches and scrapes on the wood. Everything works EXCEPT when using the keyboard sometimes one layer goes wonky and every key past the 4th key or something plays the same note. I believe this is just simple issue with a key contact or something since it NEVER does this when played through midi. Still very usable and probably could easily be totally refurbished. These sell for about $4000 without the cv/gate upgrade and midi converter so here is a great deal for someone that wants to fix some simple things. UPDATE: Aug 2026 I just took it apart to try to clean the key contacts and when I had the keybed pulled halfway out all the keys worked on both layers. I played it for an hour with no issues. When I put it all back together the lower voice went back to only working correctly on the lowest 4 keys and everything higher would play the same note. So I now think it's just wires getting bunched up and messing with the key contact or a loose solder joint. All sliders and switches work although sometimes the switches have to be switched back and forth. Could probably stand a good overall cleaning. All keys on the upper voice work. Notes for the lower voice sometimes work and sometimes everything past low G# plays a G#. EVERYTHING PLAYS CORRECTLY THROUGH THE MIDI MOD.

IT'S 50 YEARS OLD AND SHIPPING IT MAY SHAKE IT'S GUTS A BIT. When I first got it some of the bending features didn't seem to work and all I did was open it and make sure everything was connected and then it worked.

Now includes the cv.ocd midi to cv converter which makes this a duophonic midi synth plus this converter can control more synths since it has 4 cv outs and 12 gates. Currently, it is set up for duophonic midi control of the Maxikorg and duophonic midi control of a Yamaha CS synth but you can set it up to work with what ever synths you have.

One of the absolute most unique synthesizers ever made. This is my second one and if it sells, there’s a good chance I will buy it a third time. I love the oddballs and this sure is one. Each layer has both a high pass and low pass filter, an oscillator with noise, ring mod, and a sub osc, various bend, vibrato, etc. It‘s duophonic with different types of key triggering and it sounds like nothing else. It’s very used and scratched up and the highest key is kind of broken so I took it off. This has the wonderful cv/gate kit installed so you can not only play it duophonicly through midi but it also adds cv jacks for modulating the filters. It’s missing a few slider caps. Some switches don’t work every time but they work. Ever could use a good cleaning and probably calibration if you want to get the most out of it. It works well enough for me as it is. I used this synth on an album with Norman Westberg (Swans) and on a song with Lonesome Wyatt (Those Poor Bastards). Hear a ring mod duophonic lead at 4:53 of the video below.
