Original Description:
The Gibson J-45 125th Anniversary is a commemorative model created to mark the 125th anniversary of the US brand and represents the construction excellence of more than a century of lutherie history.
This exceptional instrument, produced in only 125 units worldwide, is characterised by excellent materials and a portentous sound.
Taking it in your hands you are immediately amazed by its lightness and resonance. We find a solid Lutz spruce top, with a portentous sound projection, back and sides in solid marbled mahogany. The traditional X-chaining is hand-scalloped.
The neck is very comfortable: it is a mahogany neck with Slim Taper profile combined with a 12’ radius rosewood fingerboard.
Finally, note the excellent L.R. Baggs Element VTC electronics, with Volume and Tone controls inside the soundhole, capable of generating a warm, natural and dynamic sound, extremely close to that of an unplugged instrument.
