The back of the guitar is separating where the neck meets the body, due to this we are selling at a steep discount. This is an as-is sale, please refrain from purchase if you are not comfortable with the condition.
This is a super cool vintage acoustic from Yamaha, made in 1976 in Japan. This guitar is comprised of an Ezo spruce top, laminated Indian rosewood back and sides, and a Nato neck. The fretboard has a 15" radius.
This guitar does show plenty of cosmetic wear from over the years. Most notably, there's a pretty significant structural crack on the back of the upper body underneath the neck heal. This would certainly require attention from a skilled luthier. Other cosmetic wear includes normal surface scratches and scuffs, as well as some cracks throughout the binding. There's also a ding on the front of the body as pictured. The frets are used but still play well along the neck without any fret buzz. The action however, is very high, coming in at over .14" on the 12th fret. The neck is set with only light relief. Please refer to photos for information on the action height. This item is sold as is and discretion is up to the buyer.
The pickguard has been swapped to a clear one, also includes the pictured tortoise shell guard.
