Random*Source Serge Powered 4U Modular System

(This is 4U Modular Serge, not eurorack!)

It is a powered boat, from R*S, with 6 modules (4X4 modules are pretty much double modules, so its more the equivalent of about 12 serge modules) and I do have the meanwell adapter and wall plug (North America) to power it that will come with the sale. I can also give for free a bunch of banana cables to get started right away (Pomona cables $$$). NEW DEAL : I also have the eurorack passive module Pont-Neuf from Random*Source, which converts Banana to euro, with the great style of R*S, that I will include in the sale as well. Basically brand new. Jam with your euro as well!

Perfect for somebody looking to get into the format, without having to think about… well anything really. It’s ready to go!

Please note that you can also tell me to switch any of these modules with a Tau “the pipe” Phaser 4x4 module, that I also have that is not currently racked in the XL boat. Lets say you are more interested in drones and want to switch out the sequencer or the divide&compare for the phaser which would be more suitable, you can, I will configure the system for your needs.

In its current configuration, it’s like having a Random*Source Mantra panel on steroids, with a mantra but add on top some classic serge heavy tones( res EQ + wave mults) and a divider + analog logic + comparator (divide & compare module)! Its insanely powerful.

The ONLY reason I’m selling : I started doing a lot of diy and LOVE it and I would like to diy my own serge system. I will finance this project with this system sale.

I am looking to offer what I think is a fair price for a second hand system, without gatekeeping or making a profit of any kind.

I would love for this beautiful system to have a loving home, as I have recorded so much and had so much fun with it in the last couple of years. It was kept in a smoke-free studio and was very well taken care of. It was all recently looked at by a professional synth technician (mécanik synthétik here in Montreal, the best) : everything is fully working and apart from a few normal minor scuffs here and there on the case, it is in absolutely great condition.
